I don't know how anyone could read Tyler's Website and not cry. I did. He is such an adorable little boy who has gone through much to much pain and suffering for a child of seven. I was hoping that people would look heavily to his website and buy items that will promote the needed research that Rick Staad, Tyler's Father, is working so hard to get off the ground.
Those who have been following this story about Tyler understand the important of giving support. Last week-end just before the rains hit, Rick held a Tyler Hope Golf Outing to promote the necessary research for Tyler's dystonia and others as well. Fixing Tyler will not only help him, but so many other children whose names remain unknown.
I had sent a bunch of books down to Gainesville, Florida for Rick to sell during his big weekk-end. I also am selling my books on my website for Tyler's benefit. A good portion of all the books sold, at www.bettelevine.com and tylershope.com will go to help dystonia research. The two books being sold are both related to dystonia. The first is "Learning, Coping, Living." It is a good motivational book. The other is "Hurricane Within Me." It is my memoir as I am the author of both books and I do have dystonia. My books give away all the secrets of how I live with dystonia. It isn't easy and I need the research to go on, too.
